Drug Victims Remembrance Day

From 12 to 14 May 2026, the school commemorated Drug Victims Remembrance Day to create awareness of how family and society are also victims of drug abuse, other than the abusers, and encourage community support for the anti-drug cause. The commemoration began with a sharing on the impact of drug abuse on family and society during assembly to sensitize students to how drug abuse affects people other than the abusers and that it is not victimless.  This was followed by classroom discussions and activities on the impact of drug abuse on others and how to support loved ones who may be abusing substances. We hope these activities reinforce the importance adopting healthy coping strategies and to stay away from abusing substances like drugs.
