About Us
Many Voices, One Harmony
Pasir Ris Secondary School Choir aims to foster a close-knit family of choristers with exemplary character and musicianship, who are self-directed in striving for high standards of performance while celebrating cultural diversity.
Guided by our motto, “Many Voices, One Harmony”, the PRSS Choir takes pride in working together as a one family, where no member is left behind. We believe in nurturing strong values, building self-confidence, and developing leadership skills. These qualities reflect the school’s commitment to nurturing confident, well-rounded individuals who actively contribute to the school's vibrant music culture.
In 2010, the PRSS Choir found a new chapter, transitioning from an SSA female choir to an SATB mixed-gender choir under the baton of Mr Terrence Toh. The choir went from strength to strength, achieving its first Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Gold Award as an SATB choir in 2011.
In the subsequent biennial Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Arts Presentations, the choir was awarded the Certificate of Distinction in 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019, establishing itself as a performing arts group with immense potential and promise.
Through a wide range of enriching learning opportunities and diverse local and overseas experiences, the PRSS Choir strives to bring out the best in every member, helping them discover their musical talents while fostering a lifelong appreciation for music.

Each year is an exciting one for the PRSS Choir, offering a wide range of meaningful activities. In addition to staging full-length concerts with our alumni, which provide valuable opportunities to showcase musical abilities, outdoor performances have always been and will continue to be defining and enriching experiences for all PRSS Choir members.
