Co-Curricular Activities
Co-Curricular Activities are an integral part of the Pasirian Experience, providing students with opportunities to discover their interests, develop their talents, and build character beyond the classroom. With 16 CCAs across four groups such as Aesthetics, Sports, Uniformed Groups, and Clubs, students cultivate essential skills, values, and leadership through meaningful participation and shared experiences.
Overview
Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) are an integral part of the holistic, well-rounded education that Pasir Ris Secondary School seeks to provide. The school has a broad and diverse range of CCAs to cater to the different needs and interests of our students.
Our CCA Programme provides students with a platform to discover their interests and talents as well as develop CCA-specific knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes through sustained participation.
CCA participation is compulsory for all students in secondary school. All students are expected to take part in at least one CCA from the four CCA groups:

CCA Participation
All students must enrol in a CCA throughout their secondary education. Points will be awarded for participation only when the attendance rate is above 75%. Students with poor CCA attendance (less than 75%) will be given a conduct grade of 'fair', and their CCA points will not be computed for the year.
Students are encouraged to remain in the CCA assigned to them throughout their secondary education. Changing of CCA will only be considered due to medical reasons. In this case, the LEAPs 2.0 points will not be affected.
Students may participate in more than one CCA on a case by case basis approved by HOD PE/CCA.

CCAs Groups
Aesthetic
Our Aesthetics groups comprise Chinese Orchestra, Choir, Concert Band, English Drama, and Modern Dance. They provide students with opportunities to develop artistic skills, creativity, and confidence through rich performance experiences and collaboration.
Clubs
Our Tinkers’ and Audio Visual & Lighting Club offer students opportunities to develop creativity, innovation, and technical skills through hands-on learning. Tinkers’ Club focuses on design and problem-solving projects, while AVL Club trains students in sound, lighting, and multimedia support for school events and performances.
Sports
Our Sports CCAs include Floorball, Volleyball, Netball, Football, Basketball, and Badminton, with some sports being gender specific. Through structured training and competitions, students develop physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship. The programme also nurtures leadership, perseverance, and a strong sense of commitment both on and off the court.
Uniformed Groups
Our Uniformed Groups provide students with structured opportunities to develop character, leadership, discipline, and resilience through meaningful training and service. Through authentic experiences and teamwork, students are nurtured to become responsible and confident leaders.
