Parent Support Group at Pasir Ris Secondary School strengthens home-school partnerships by working closely with the school to support students’ holistic development. Through their involvement in school programmes and activities, PSG members help enrich student experiences and build a strong, connected school community. Our Parent Support Group
Members of our Parent Support Group Executive Committee often share a well-known quote that reflects our Partnership Framework, which promotes strong, collaborative relationships for mutually beneficial outcomes.
Our PSG serves as a platform for parents to connect, support one another, and work alongside school staff to enhance students’ learning experiences. It meets once every term, providing opportunities for engagement, collaboration, and shared contributions towards school-wide initiatives.
Over the years, PSG members have generously given their time, effort, and talents in support of school events, including Chinese New Year celebrations and Racial Harmony Day, helping to foster a strong sense of community within the school.
In 2022, our PSG launched the “Box of Blessings” initiative, donating stationery to children’s homes and orphanages as part of their commitment to giving back to the wider community. During Chinese New Year celebrations, members also enjoyed meaningful opportunities to reconnect, welcome new members, and strengthen relationships within the PSG.
Through these ongoing efforts, our PSG continues to play an important role in supporting the school’s holistic education goals while nurturing a caring and connected school community. We warmly welcome your support and involvement, as your participation in school activities enriches students’ learning experiences and helps to strengthen parent-child relationships.
